A 6-week group anger management programme for young people.

Built from real-world work with students in East London, The Driver goes beyond standard anger management — it gives young people a personal value and a complete toolkit they can use anywhere, invisibly.

Not your standard
anger management.

Four principles that make The Driver different from anything else on the market.

Conversation-led

Guided discovery and live scenarios — not worksheets. Students arrive at insights themselves, which means they stick.

Acceptance-based

We don't teach students to suppress anger. We train what happens in the moment after — building real agency, not false calm.

Identity-aware

Addresses the labels students carry and builds a values-based alternative identity — one they can own.

Cumulative

Each session builds on the last. Students leave with a growing toolkit, not a one-off lesson that fades by Monday.

A complete programme.

Six structured sessions, each building on the last — from finding a personal value to applying the full toolkit on real, upcoming situations.

Session 01

Pick Your Lane

Finding the value that drives chosen behaviour — students identify what they stand for, not just what they're against.

Session 02

Make the Move

Identifying automatic reactions and choosing differently — slowing down the split-second that changes everything.

Session 03

Ride the Wave

Moving forward with anger present — not waiting for it to pass. Learning to act while the feeling is still there.

Session 04

Don't Take Orders

Defusing the thoughts anger sends — separating signal from order, so students stop being commanded by their emotions.

Session 05

Not Your Label

Repair over self-punishment. Identity beyond the label. Students learn to bounce back without shame spirals.

Session 06

Game Ready

Full integration — training skills on real upcoming situations. Students leave with their complete Game Ready card to keep.

GY
Grounded in Real Practice
Developed from direct therapeutic work with young people in SEMH settings

The Driver wasn't written from a textbook. It was built in the room — through direct therapeutic work with young people in East London SEMH settings who needed something practical, honest, and effective. Every session reflects what actually lands with young people navigating anger in school environments.

  • Grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — a well-evidenced approach for young people's emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — helping students move toward their values, not away from their feelings
  • Developed and refined through extensive 1:1 and group work with young people with complex SEMH needs
  • Delivered by qualified, clinically supervised SEMH practitioners — DBS checked and GDPR compliant
